The main hall is the heart of the building: a large timbered space with a raised stage at one end and an attractive galleried area overlooking the floor.
It hosts everything from wedding receptions and village performances to weekly exercise classes and public meetings. Hiring the main hall also includes the Library Room as a separate quiet space.
We welcome visitors with mobility needs: there's step-free access into the building via a ramped entrance, an accessible toilet, and a flat car park on site. Full details on our accessibility page.
Room for the whole village

The hall carries a digital projector with a drop-down screen. Cast to it wirelessly over the hall's guest WiFi from your phone, tablet or laptop, using AirPlay, Chromecast or screen mirroring. There's also a wall-mounted 50" TV you can plug into over HDMI, a PA system, and handheld and lapel microphones.
The building has WiFi throughout via superfast full-fibre broadband. The hall's old hearing loop has been removed at the end of its life; a modern Auracast assistive listening system is planned to replace it.
